Connect More!

Connections to our family, friends, co-workers, and pets boost our well-being. Social connections make us happy and create good mental health. People who have support from family, friends, and their community, have fewer health problems and live longer. Connect with the good people in your lives as much as possible, to avoid depriving yourself of the love you can give and receive.

Before Covid-19 there was loneliness. The main cause of loneliness is social isolation. The devastation of Covid-19 is causing even more isolation. Now more than ever, It is imperative that we stay connected in the safest ways possible. Our normal has been put on hold as our new normal for physical interactions results in the use of various types of non-physical interactions on video chats among other technologies.

The loss of connectivity to one another is the loss of our humanity. That lack can cause poor mental health, such as depression, anxiety, and numerous other health issues. It is up to every one of us to stay connected however possible. Use all the energy you have, to maintain old and make new relationships to promote good mental health.
